The new Africa Hub in the City of Joburg is earmarked to provide a dynamic and supportive co-working environment for new and growing companies.
The Hub space, within the China Southern Africa Trade & Expo Centre, has been newly-converted to create an attractive and creative working environment for companies.
According to its management, Africa Hub is a seed of an idea after recognising that they could use their resources to foster entrepreneurs and SMMEs through an innovation hub.
The results, said the managers, is a working space with a clear vision that has a very different kind of potential that extends far beyond the walls of the building.
Instead, there will be cutting-edge ideas, plans, developments and solutions that are certain will come out of this revitalised space.
“It has been designed to facilitate a business community of talented, passionate and diverse industries working together to create new solutions to big and small problems, and will allow interaction between the customers, entrepreneurs, SMMEs, innovators, manufacturers, distributors and designers as well as between disciplines, sectors and cultures in its endeavours,” said Ntshabi Moeketsi, operations manager.
Africa Hub will also identify and enhance the functioning of business support and offer industrial relations, economics and commercial, health and safety and skills development that was tailor-made to suit business needs.
The hub offer businesses the opportunity to work alongside, and take inspiration from fellow creative entrepreneurs whilst having exclusive opportunity to enhance their brand into the global market.
