In Chinese cuisine, spring rolls are savoury rolls with mostly cabbage and small amount carrots or other vegetables as your filling. The fillings are wrapped around a very thin pastry.
The Spring rolls are deep fried, leaving a terrific contract between the crispy pastry and the tender and juicy interior. The filling of the cabbage creates an even better taste with its liquid.
