Police Department from Fujian visit SA

A delegation from the Chinese Police Department from Fujian China led by Mr Xia Gang, visited the South African Chinese Community and Police Cooperation centre in Johannesburg this week.

The Chinese Community Police Forum Chairman Mr Wu Shaokang welcomed the delegation and introduced them to various Chinese Community Associations, particularly the South African Chinese Community and Police Cooperation and nationals who are originally from the Fujian Province of China.

The South African Chinese Community and Police Cooperation explained the core of their business, what they do and why they started it.

The organization began operating under the Chinese Embassy and the Johannesburg Consular General. The organization was sponsored and funded by the Chinese community members who saw a need for this foundation.

Mr Xia Gang was astonished and enthusiastic by the work of this organization and mentioned that throughout all his overseas trips, he has never come across such an organisation. He thanked the lovely reception that he and his delegation received upon their arrival, mainly Mr Wu Shaokang.

Mr Xia Gang ended his speech by acknowledging the Chinese police department for their continuous support of Chinese national in foreign countries and how they their Chinese Police Department from Fujian will support them working together with the South African Police Services.
