At the annual Trade Workshops held by South African Tourism recently in Beijing. Mr. Hamington Luzuko Mafenuka, 1st Secretary at the South African Embassy in China, announced four favourable visa policies:
- Chinese parents who go to South Africa with their children only need to submit the children’s certificates to a South African mission (embassy or consulate general) during visa application,rather than to an airline when boarding;
- South Arica will open visa application centres in Guangzhou and Chengdu before the end of this year;
- Business executives from China, India, Russia and Brazil can apply for a South African 10-year multiple-entry visa;
- South Africa will provide multiple-entry visas for tourists who plan to travel through it and then to its neighbouring countries, depending on which and how many neighbouring countries they are visiting.
